There are computers with access to printers and the Internet in each Student Studio. There are also telephones available for internal calls, e.g. to get IT Support during Library opening hours. There are extended opening hours for students who arrive before 9.00pm on week days.

Studio Etiquette

  • Students may work and study in any Student Studio. Please respect these areas and leave rooms in the condition that they were found.
  • Be considerate to and respect the rights of others. Excessive noise and unruly and offensive behaviour are unacceptable and will lead to disciplinary action.
  • Be considerate when using cell phones
  • You must be able to produce your UCOL student I.D. card at all times. Failure to do so will result in a request to leave.

 

Computer Use Policy

If you are enrolled, fully paid and studying on campus, you will have access to computers. Log-on and password details will be provided along with your ID during your first week of classes. Access to computer resources is provided to support students' learning activities. A copy of the policy is available in each Student Studio. Violation of the principles in this policy and inappropriate use of UCOL's computer resources will result in immediate cancellation of your computer access and may result in disciplinary action.
