Financial Hardship

There is a Hardship Fund available to students suffering an unexpected short-term financial problem, which is likely to adversely affect their study. You will need to provide evidence that you have exhausted all avenues of financial support as well as a current bank statement before any financial assistance can be given.

There are a number of outside agencies and websites who will assist you with managing your finances and providing budgeting advice.

www.sorted.org.nz - A great website to aid in managing your money.

www.studylink.govt.nz - Official government information on loans and allowances.
